Will Jessica Alba Play Belinda Carlisle In A Biopic ?

Earlier this year, Jessica Alba was complaining about being typecast and putting the call out for challenging roles. I thought it was just a way to keep her name in the media between 'almost-straight-to-video' bikini suspense movies.

A recent trend in Hollywood is to get stars to recreate real life celebrities, think Johnny Cash, Muhammed Ali, Ray Charles etc..Maybe playing Belinda Carlisle would be a good move for Jessica Alba, but only if she can act. The jury is still out in that.
